We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Senior General Ledger Accountant to join our growing finance team in Littleton. This is a critical role responsible for working closely with the CFO to ensure the integrity of our financial records, from daily transaction coding to high-level month-end and year-end closing processes, alongside being a key partner in modernizing workflows and digitizing the finance functions.

What You’ll Do

  • Core Accounting: Manage all daily credits, debits, and journal entries. Ensure accurate posting for accruals and deferrals.

  • Reconciliations & Cash: Perform full general ledger and bank reconciliations. Oversee cash entries, receipts, and disbursements.

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly management reports and assist with the preparation of year-end financial statements.

  • Tax & Compliance: Handle Sales & Use Tax filings and Ad Valorem (property tax) assessments across multiple jurisdictions.

  • Commission Tracking: Calculate and verify commission structures to ensure accurate and timely payouts.

  • Cycle Management: Lead the Month-End and Year-End close processes, ensuring all accounts are balanced and deadlines are met.

What You Bring

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or greater in Accounting (Required).

  • Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills with the ability to build financial models or automate recurring reporting.

  • Expertise: Solid understanding of GAAP, accrual-based accounting, and financial reporting standards.

  • Precision: An eagle eye for detail—you spot a reconciliation error before it becomes a headache.

  • Communication: The ability to translate complex financial data into clear reports for management.
